And now for that bizzaro moment...
I was walking my dog this morning along the park here by my house when i heard some geese fly over. And i thought to myself i better lock the kennel tonight. The funny thing is i have not had a kennel since i was a kid and lived in Wyoming where we raised dogs.
We had to lock the kennel when the geese came because the geese who were happily migrating south would land on the lake near our house. And the ones close to shore would get frozen to the lake at night.
Screaming frozen geese attract a lot of attention. Mostly foxes, coyotes and wild dogs. Foxes and coyotes are not a problem because they are skittish little loners who mind there own business.
Wild dog packs on the other hand are not so polite and will kill domestic dogs.
So bizarre that i would think about that and the feeling i got as a kid living out there. There is no way to describe thousands of geese landing and taking off.

I'm also glad I'm having a great day since I haven't had one in a long time.
