Well tonight i watch the Olivia cam.
When I was a little rat living way up north in Montana. We used to watch the fourth of July fireworks show in Butte. It was one of the biggest in the world. Before the show kids would run around playing games and fighting, while adults drank and gossiped. You never knew when it would start. When it did, we would sit down on lawn chairs and lay on the grass looking up at the dark Montana nights as these huge balls of fire rattled windows and blinded eyes. I would just melt back into the earth with my best friend in the whole world right there next to me. My best friend in the whole world. Funny how small the world was then. Two poor kids from poor families in poor neighborhoods looking up from the lawns of some college and nothing else in the world mattered.

yeah i have memories like that too. I loved watcing fireworks with my cousins and brother. when he was little he would cover his ears and eyes only to look at the green ones. memories are something you always keep with you. no matter where you are you can bring them with you. nice thing memories. some you wish you could get rid of though. but the one you shared reminded me of the good ones.
thanks babe

i miss it when nothing in life seemed to matter and things like laying in the grass watching fireworks was so beautiful. *sigh*
