Back to some form of civilization - decent internet access. It may still be dialup, but at least it doesn't take half an hour to load Google.
Ah, Boston, what a strange place. I can never decide if it's a whole bunch of small towns glommed together, or a city. I've tried calling it a suburban city in the past, but that doesn't work - All the little towns aren't suburbs, just small towns that are packed beyond their cultural capacity. The density of a city with the mindset of a town, or a multiplicity of towns. and of course anyone from boston would probably beat me for this, but i still stand by it - Boston isn't a city, it's a whole bunch of confused small towns with a shitty mass transit system.
