KILL IT!
Today I finally decided to get around to playing Suikoden III. I'd bought it when it first came out, because I swore I'd be playing it then, but now that it's dropped in price I finally have the time.
But, no, the case is opened and the game is missing. If I wasn't an anal put-the-game-back-in-the-case-after-playing kind of person, I wouldn't be too worried.
Only, I am. And nobody else has touched it in our apartment, because nobody else is really interested in playing it.
Plus, we just cleaned the past few days, so if it was somewhere in the apartment, we would have found it.
Plus, my roommate's friend a few months back stayed in our apartment on-and-off for a month to sleep on the couch because his lease was up, and he had to do a few things before going back home.
And according to her, during some idle conversation with me, he was very enthusiastic when he saw we had Suikoden III. He excitedly described how he couldn't find it anywhere (they weren't really selling them much at that point), and how badly he wanted to play it.
Then, he finally went home. After spending many nights on our couch beside the game. And the case is still here, but the game is gone.
I smell something funny here. Oh yeah. It's my seething frustration. I'm pissed to high hell, but I can't say for sure he did it, and if he did, what could I possibly do? He's gone.
Plus, being the annoyingly optimistic, philanthropic person I am, I just find the possibility that he stole it so immoral and wrong that I can't even really believe he'd do something like that.
But somebody needs to pay. And I don't understand how the fuck that could be me.
Still, things like this are just a part of life, right?
(...A really bad part of life.)
Did I also mention that hurricane Isabel will most inevitably hit me? It's a category 5 right now, which is supposedly the highest, and at the rate it's going, it'll probably slam the coastline here in five, six days.
Exciting times.

I remember buying the first one to tide me over until Final Fantasty VII came out waaaaaay back when I first got my PlayStation. I really liked it. Then a few years later I picked up pt. II, but I don't think I ever finished it. Lately I've had a bad habit of starting video games and being super into them for a week or two, then not playing for a few months and not being able to remember what's going on by the time I go back to them.
For the past week I've really wanted to get into Star Wars Galaxies, but I know once school starts up I won't have time to play. So I'm trying to keep myself busy by writing comics and looking at naked internet girls instead.
