ok. to the best of my knowledge having someone never be ok hanging out with you when their friends are around, and openly admitting that they dont like hanging around you when others are around, is in fact insulting. i dont think anyone who was really interested in my feelings would behave like that. i mean i can understand if something makes you feel uncomfortable wanting to avoid it, but i cannot understand what possible valid reason there could be for discomfort if we are in fact actually friends. i can see someone being embarassed of me and not wanting me around when there's witneses, i can see someone feeling like im not really their friend and not wanting me to hang out with their friends as a result, but i cant see someone who is supposed to be my friend wanting to keep me a completely separate part of their life, hidden from everyone else. it really makes me feel bad about myself you know?
