So I have a junior Marine whose very lucky I have intergrity because he made a very foolish bet. Now I never intented to take his money since he's my subordinate but I will rub it in his face if he loses. He bet me $1000 against my $100 that I couldn't swim 50 meters in one breath. The basis for this being that he can't so naturally I can't. Now holding your breath on ground is deffinatelly different then swimming while holding your breath. However it gives you something of a base line. He hasn't held his breath longer then 43 seconds fairly average I think. Me on the other hand, my personal best is 1 minute 30 seconds. Coupling that with the fact that I've done it before I'd say the odds are in my favor. Well see tomorrow afternoon though.
Works been decent I'm starting to realize just how much extra work gets throw on you when you get promoted. I'm not getting overwhelmed yet though so I'm happy about that and pray it stays that way. Another Marine of mine had an oh shit moment today along the lines of "oh shit Cpl. Sara(thats me) actually knows what hes talking about when it comes to training dogs". Yes you tard I do know what I'm talking about.
Well thats all for now we'll see what the rest of the week holds for me.
