Blarg. I learned a couple things today. Some things are meant just for the Blog section lol. So, I will Blog it.and I learned how to spell Hiatus *blushes* i thought there was a D instead of a T. wOOps
I went away for a few months. I missed the site. ALOT. Then one day I got this email from SG, saying that they wanted me back, enough to give me some cool enough deal for a whole year. So I took up the opportunity and got a one year account for a friendly price. YAY
I went away, because I moved, I upgraded from a 2 bedroom to a 4 bedroom. YAY
I also went away, because I started training to become a tattoo artist. My tattoo artist finally got me to apprentice under him. It was a neat way to start, thats for sure. I brought in a tattoo I wanted for my back, it was in my sketchbook and he asked to look through the rest, and thats where it all started for me. Tattooing is something that I Never thought I would do. The job was never an idea i had in my own head.
Anyway, I got a "promotion" today. And felt l ike sharing the news. My boss wants me tattooing full time throughout this summer. Thats where alot of my artistic growth will happen. It gets SO busy in the summer. I remember having to book with my artist 3 months in advance for my tattoo before I was his apprentice.
Ive done probably 25-30 tattoos, some big some small. I got the hang of it so far, but my boss says hes gonna start testing my boundaries. So that is a bit exciting and makes me a bit nervous. But its the good kind of nervous where ya gets all giddy and stuff.
Anyway, if you read this, thanks for takin the time. I posted some new pics of myself that are VERY recent. two weekends ago, me and my bf went to Vancouver BC to see Marilyn Manson live. Was my first concert ever. and it was a dream come true. Growing up, Manson was my favorite singer/band. He was inspiring. To look beyond our daily lives, and see the world for what it is. Even today, I still find his political views to be very interesting and valuble.
