I haven't done this in a while. FYI, my blog titles have nothing to do with the actual blog, it just happens to be the name of the song I'm listening to at the time. Extra points if you can name the artist without looking it up. I'll hold y'all to the honor system. The first time I joined SG was in 2003, guess I'm dating myself a little. Saw a segment done on the site on a show called real sex that used to air on HBO back in the day. When I saw it, I thought that it was awesome, a site that features beautiful women who are not what is shoved down our throats in America as being what is meant to be traditionally "beautiful." Honestly though, I knew I was counterculture even back then. I have never really felt like I belong. I don't mean to say that as a sad thing, it's just how I feel. I might be older, and I am definitely not that kid anymore, but I feel no more connected to society than I did back then. I decided to come back on, 20 years later, to see if I can meet some like-minded people. I fly my freak and nerd flag proudly, tattoos have always been a part of my culture, waiting to see where my 40's takes me. It's been a while SG land, hopefully here to make real connections.
