I don't know why so many women in my life hate Bell Peppers, but for a while I think I started giving in to peer pressure and wasn't eating them so much. I'm still not a huge fan when they're cooked, especially over cooked.
What I've really missed is the Red Bell pepper and Hummus combo.
There are just some foods that taste SOOO good together, like they're made for each other.
Some others:
Wine and cheese, of course.
Peanut Butter and honey -yuuuummm!
Salt and Vinegar
Tomato and Basil
Pizza and Salad
And of course: Champagne and Strawberries!
I wonder what other food combos I haven't discovered yet?

would be fun meetin you, darling!! the girl who save my ass!!
and who hates bell peppers? i don't cook them that much either (except in scrambled eggs) but they're so good when they're fresh and crispt. i'm attempting to grow some this year, but they always do bad in my garden. eh.
anyway, i was in the suicide conventions group and saw the chicago thread talking about getting a gay pride float. i think that would be amazing, especially since there are quite a few queer sg's in chicago. they are still accepting parade registrations. if you message me i can give you the info you would need to contact them about it. i would also be happy to do it myself, but would need a contact name and address for them to send the materials to. i worked on getting a float a few years back for my teeny rural suburban town, and it was a lot of fun. i'd love to work on this with you, just let me know if you think it's a possibility.
