Sooooooo busy............how is this vacation going? You may be asking.
Last week was fun, got to see some old friends and realised how much it sucks we live on opposite side of the country. I started my SF journey by visiting them at work at Tippett Studios where they are working on the Charlotte's Web movie, so I got to see some of that and I got to see some of Tippett's old stuff like tons of Robo-cop and Starship troopers props. The next day me and my little brother went to look at the art academy which he is thinking about going to and was the main reason for the visit. It was nice but I Ringling(the school I went to) much better.
So that brings us to Thursday where I think I died and went to Nerd Heaven, I got to go to ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) which is for those of you that don't know George Lucas' FX company. They of course had props from all kinds of movies like Jurasic Park, Roger Rabbit, Men in Black, Jumanji, Lemony Snicket and many many more. Of course there was star wars memorabilia like an original R2D2 a storm trooper costume, an orignal yoda, and I got to touch the original Han Solo in carbonite.........it was soooo cool! Yeah thats right I'm a dork.
Thursday night I went to Dinner with my friend Katie who I haven't seen in like 6 years. Friday I relaxed a bit before going to the comedy central tour with Mike Burbiglio, Beetlebug, Burbubbly, oh whatever he can't even say it right.......but he he's one funny SOB.
Saturday might have been the traveling day from hell I left at 7am and didn't get home to 12:30am and got the nice experience of having a 3 hour delay during our lay over in Dallas but not a good kinda delay where you just hang out in the airport, nope this delay was on the plane I got to sit in a tiny seat for 3 hours before we took off.
Sunday went to the Taking Back Sunday concert which was great as expected. I really dug the one opening band Suicide City, they were totally out of place, but were great, some refreshing old school punk with back flips.
Monday I gave myself a mohawk. Today I went to my old high school to talk to some art classes about my job which was cool. Now its back to NY to clean my apartment before my best friend Melissa comes to visit tomorrow. Man I'm tired.
So thats what I've been up to, in case anyone cares.
