Went to see the Chinese state circus this week 
It was truly amazing!! I've never seen such a display of acrobatics and showmanship along with wonderful costumes
The lion dance was especially great!
They had comedy acts and jugglers and contortionists, I mean I really felt truly entertained for the first time in ages it was kinda like being a little kid again!
They also had the awesome Shaolin Wushu warriors
These guys just kicked ass all over the stage with fantastic weapon displays and amazing feats!
But it's now with a sadder note where I'm truly sorry to have learned today of the passing of the "Croc hunter" - Steve Irwin
I always loved his enthusiasm for nature, how he'd put himself in harms way to help animals or learn about them, I saw one time where he cleared out and relocated a bunch of scorpions from around a village and I know he'll be missed.

Steve Irwin was more than a little bit crazy... but he seemed like a sweet guy. I was saddened to hear of his passing as well. I'm especially sorry for his kids and his wife. Of all the dangerous animals he was around, crocs, big cats, venomous snakes... it was a stingray that killed him. Quite bizarre.
