So my tattoo is healing. Is pretty.
What's not so pretty are the garbage cans and buckets filled with brown water and the industrial fans spread troughout the apartment. Last night our upstairs neighbor took a nap after flushing his toilet, not realizing that it was overflowing. Fifteen minutes later, we got a knock on our door from the downstairs neighbor asking if we had any idea why water was sreaming down her walls and through her ceiling. Naturally we didn't, but after a quick inspection we noticed that we were also in the same predicament.
Water was dripping from the fireplace and hallway lights, pouring from the kitchen cabinet, and bubbling-up from the floor boards. And we had a leak that spanned the width of the apartment.
Luckily, tha bathrooms are still usable and no leaks have appeared in the bedrooms. So, we don't have to move out before restoration begins.
Sadly, we're out of dry towels.
