hey so i put up a couple pictures - just some stuff i have sitting around...i take entirely too many pictures with my digital camera but hey, that's why i got it. i'm a little hung over and stuff which is poopie - that's what i get for overdoing it last night i suppose - god, could my life get any more boring or plebian?
random thought - kinski is the almost best band ever - if it weren't for the mercury program and explosions in the sky they might take the cake entirely.
so i sent a letter to my friend in the peace corps today. that was a little strange. i mean it was a pretty ordinary letter and everything, just the fact that one of my friends, this person i've known for ten years, since high school, decided to pack up and ship off to the other side of the world to devote 2 1/2 years of her life to the betterment of living for these fucking people who just live in like third world hellholes...it's odd in a way that i can't really put my finger on right now, which is frustrating. oh well.
plus, and i mean this in the nicest way possible because this girl is a sweetheart and all but she was about the LAST god damned person i would have EVER expected to go into service overseas. not that she's shallow or anything, i mean she kind of is but no more than your usual white middle class delusional suburban byproduct is - i guess a few years ago she found religion in a pretty big way so that has given her some heretofore-unheard-of-depth...i guess despite all my rantings and ravings to the contrary, here's an example of organized religion working to the benefit of people in general. how about that.
log-man butler is my god damned hero.
writing all the way off the end of the little box like this makes it hard to organize my thoughts - i may have to pursue an alternate method in future postings...man, i could really spend all day on this site. i wonder if anyone is ever going to read this. oh well until next time - a bid you all a fondue
