for the record....

I FUKKING HATE THANKSGIVING!!!

1. my grandfather died on thanksgiving.
2. my mother is trying at best n on holidays like this, i just have to keep reminding myself that it means so much to her for me to be there. don't get me wrong. i love my mommie. hell, i have an old school style 'mom' banner tattoo on my left hand. but she is just so exasperating! spending hours with my mom leaves me drained emotionally. she has tha character flaw where everything has to get done now and she truly believes that by tweaking she can get it all done 15 minutes ago. but the tweak makes her ineffective and she doesn't get jack done. i am amazed that i made it home before 10pm this evening! i have honestly had turkey dinner at 11pm at night just cuz she just had to get 'this one little thing done' before the 13 other little things...

and on the surreal note, i live in monrovia, ca, which is close to, but not right next to irwindale, home of irwindale speedway. on night that there are races, you can hear the speedway as though it was down the street. it's kinda weird to think sound travels that well...

in additon to crappy holidays, the boy is acting weird...and that's making me kinda sad
