So for once I finally had an eventful weekend!!! It all started Friday evening with my Uncle's 60th birthday party. It was hosted at a restaurant and the theme was The Godfather. Everyone dressed up and my Uncles wife even made the most kick ass cake I have ever seen!
I mean, it doesn't get better than this!
Saturday morning I woke up at the butt crack of dawn, having had barely any sleep thanks to my awesome A.D.S.P. which terrified me so much I could not go back to sleep. Suck!! Oh ya, but back on track, I woke up so early so I could get on the road to Mendocino for my best friends wedding. Her wedding was Sunday morning, so I had all of Saturday to be a daredevil...
....get misty...
...scope out an old tiny cemetery...
...play on some water towers...
...wine and dine myself...
(my first time having Escargot....yum)
...and ended the day with a bonfire
I had a hard time sleeping again, luckily I had someone watching over me from a distance...<3
So I woke up early, had a bath, and enjoyed my breakfast basket that was delivered to my door. It was such a lovely day to start the day.
The wedding was perfect. Small and intimate. My friend was beautiful, and so was the place. There were gardens, animals, and amazing views.
And then we had a small reception with delicious vegan food....the entire place, called The Stanford Inn, is Vegetarian with Vegan and Gluten-Free options...pretty cool, all organic and they farm many of their ingredients, if not all...PLUS everyone is allowed to bring their dogs...so if you are ever in Mendocino, stay there Here are some cute dogs people brought
Aaawww I wish I could have a dog....some day. Anyhow, now I am back home in bed. I am so tired, but I know I will not be able to sleep after the 5 cups of coffee I had earlier as well as the 5 hour energy I drank so i wouldnt doze off on the 4 hour drive I had to make back to Sac...didnt help tho. Scary. I am jittery and starving, so I think I should fix myself some supper now.
How was your weekend? I wanna here all about it
