it started saturday morning i went kayaking with some of my friends. my friend heather and i got a two seater, and speant the first hour trying to figure out how to drive it. the two seat is tough because it's long and it wants to turn all the time.

i love the weather when it's warm like this.
mostly because every sunday i fire up the grill, drink some beers, and burn some yummies.
yay for summer.
they also have a hot tub at my apartments now, i hung out in it almost all day yesterday. i think i might have fallen asleep at one point lol.

From a very young age, I told myself that I am going to quit smoking when I'm 27. I don't know what prompted that exact age, I guess when you're 15, twenty seven seems like a lifetime away.
I'll be 26 in a couple of weeks, and realized that I've only got about year left to smoke. Wow. I've enjoyed every single minute of it.
The new tax isn't something I'm complaining about. I'll continue to walk down to the corner store and pick up my Camels. I guess when I moved to Alabama, I was already used to paying over 5 bucks for a pack of smokes, that I was astonished I could get cigs for 4 bucks.

I haven't really listened to their latest album yet. I have this thing where I don't like listening to albums of bands I listened to in high school. I've done the same with Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson, NIN etc.. I'm scared I'll hate their new music and then I'll be disappointed when I listen to the old stuff.. ya know what I mean?
