Is Wittgenstein accurate when he says that "the limits of my language are the limits of my life"?
That seems to be a very narrow minded way of thinking. To use language, as a limiter, is to be ignorant of the other senses that humans are capable of. The limits of life extend beyond oral communication. Life, being the opposite of death, is everything inclusive of what keeps us alive as well as what we experience while alive. Life at the basics consists of food, water, and air. However, that is just what is vital. Human life is much more advanced beyond what is vital. Humans are the only mammals that can be confirmed as having a cognitive brain. Being capable to thought is the doorway to a new frontier. What is thought and explored through the power of thought should undoubtedly be included within the limits of life. In fact, with the infinite human capacity for thought, the idea that life can be limited is almost contradictory if it were not for death. Ah, but then there is also the possibility of an afterlife.
