Right so recently i have been getting my ass off the damn work chair and have been getting out and about in an effort to expand the list of activities my normally routine life consists of.
firstly went to see "Life of Pi" last week. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had such an amazing look to it and was a really well written story. Lee did a phenomenal job of bringingthat book to life. Good ol Richard Parker (Movie reference, go and watch it)
Then I was invited to a braai (Barbeque) at Vassilis's house. What a great night. Got to meet Lumo and Arroia amongst a few more of their friends and spouses. It was so good to have like minded people around and even though i was the new guy i felt really welcomed and had a great eve. Between the exploding ball of fire, poop talk, heaps and heaps of food, the great company , the many laughs and the piggy cupcakes i think everyone went home with food babies and smiles
Well Done Vassilis, think i will have to have one sometime soon
After that I managed to go see a friend of mine in hospital the next day. I DO NOT like even being in hospitals to visit. No experience in a hospital is ever a good thing in my opinion but it was good to see she was on the path to a strong recovery.
Not much else to report on however going forward this week I am really excited for whats coming. I was given a free ticket for the Chili peppers concert in Johannesburg (About a 6 and a half hour drive from Durban) So Im road tripping up to the City of Gold for the weekend to see a bad I have been listening to from since i can remember...and the kicker... Well my friend is a tattoo artist up there and she did my arm piece. I mentioned to her I would be going up and she said she wants to finish my tat. I sadly explained i was a bit tight with cash for that right now and her response was "Don't be silly, I'm doing it for free" so yeah.. .tis weekend is going to be Majestic! She's also said she will start teaching me to ink, something I've always wanted to learn to do... But for now i think it will be a hobby more than a career.
Other than that not much going on...will be sure to report on the weekend and all the activities I'll be up too next week. Anyone got any interesting stories to share?
Keep safe and keep smiling!

My wounds are healing very quickly, my lip is even back to normal, even though it was all cut up - your well-wishes must be working
