Well it's me and my identical twin brothers' 30th birthday today 6/9/83. I went to Gulf Shores, AL with the intent of fishing for red snapper, but mother nature decided at the last minute to throw a thunderstorm our way Sunday and negate the fishing part.
We went to Flora-Bama the famous bar, and to the beach near The Hangout and drank tons and played dirty card games (Cards Against Humanity it is the dirty version of Apples to Apples and is fucking awesome) I won a hand with a description card that read "two midgets shitting in a bucket" to give you an example of how far it goes. If you won a hand you had to take a shot etc. Tons of great seafood of course.
I'm not good with taking party pictures even though I have a great windows phone with an awesome camera (relative to real cameras). I keep forgetting sorry.
Here's a picture of me catching a 6lb bass the week prior on a research pond here at work!
and here's a picture of a poorly placed sign at a new boat launch in Georgia on the Flint river.
Still lookin for love in all the wrong places I guess, but maybe someday I can get a not-so-serious relationship to quell my loneliness soon.
Started work on my graduate research project finding Shoal Bass in Chattahoochee River Tributaries for a habitat utilization and presence/absence study (with other parameters) and I must say when it's your baby you care immensely about the work being right.
