Xmas at my mum's
OK,so it was in Poynton, a boring homogenised suburban dump that I can't stand. I was a postman and covered virtually every delivery round in the "village"-and have actually had nightmares about being back on a round there. Ughhhhh.
I enjoyed being back at my mum's though; the TV was great for a change (I particularly enjoyed "The Importance of Being Earnest" and the Spike Milligan biography). Incidentally, me and Spike were born on the same date (April 16).
For Xmas dinner, we had mushroom roast, which I helped mum make, with roasties, potatoes, carrots and parsnips, followed by Xmas pudding of course.
Best presents- a Jim Noir t-shirt and Broken Social Scene CD from my brother; and a generous wodge of cash from my mum.
