Happy Solstice all! Lets not forget the real reason for the season: we celebrate the days getting longer again! (northern hemisphere anyway!) Peace, love joy and happiness to all in the coming year, but new years isn't until March 21; oh well. Gotta love our calender.

Well summer's over and the season's def. changing now. Time marches on; change is inevitable. Oh, yeah, finally got that tat, too. Hooray for change.

Last thursday my appendix decided to break up with me and there was nothing i could do but have it removed. So from now on i'll be living without an appendix. Yikes! So my first tat is to be a swallow (or martin from my neck of the woods) cuz i've got my 5,000 miles under sail. The swallow will carry a banner that says 'Ruby' because she was one of the most important women in my life and she passed away while I was getting those 5,000.
