why as human beings do we never live up to the potential given to us? we have the gift of insight but use it so sparingly. we can go through our lives and never see whatstruely around us. all the pain and joy carried in their personal bubbles and buffers. why do we live in fear of talking to one another, strolling down city streets is as impersonal as sticking your metiphorical dick through a glory hole. to those that bother to read this, please do this freak a favor. try saying hello to one stranger today, and see what happens, then report back here to tell what happened. did you get that brush off, or distrusting look, or did you stumble across someone else willing to see past there distrust of others.

I'd assume most don't live up to their potential because it's difficult to do so. It's easier to settle than to strive for greatness; pushing yourself costs. It hurts. Becoming a better person requires you to move beyond your comfort zones, and most find that unappealing.

I won't be coming in contact with anyone outside of my family today, but yesterday I said hello to several stranges. Most smiled or said hi back. I did get into a nice discussion on how long it takes for sod to grow roots.
