My dear friend @chroi tagged me in this, so here are my favorite movies of all time.
1. The Fifth Element
I remember seeing bits and pieces of this movie when I was younger and thinking it was pretty cool. Seeing it again when I was older, I realized it was way cooler than I even knew. I could watch it all the time and never get sick of it. I even have a tattoo from it. I think because of this movie, I've basically always had a crush on Milla Jovovich.
2. Shaun of the Dead / Hot Fuzz / The World's End
I'm counting these all as one, because I can. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are 2 of my favorite actors, without a doubt. I love the humor in all these movies, because you have to be quick to catch it, but when you do, it's great. I like Shaun of the Dead just a tiny bit more than the other 2, but they're all amazing.
3. The Iron Giant
Yes, an animated film is on my list, because I'm an adult 😎 But seriously this movie is amazing. Who wouldn't want to befriend a giant robot from space?! I'm planning a tattoo involving this as well.
4. Blazing Saddles
Mel Brooks movies are always hilarious, but this is definitely my favorite of all of his films. It's pretty overly racist (which is absolutely not why I love it) but in 1974, that sort of thing was still prevalent I guess.
5. War of the Worlds
When I was a kid, my dad had Jeff Wayne's musical version of this on vinyl, and I loved it, even though it terrified me. I love the way it was interpreted in this film. I love movies about the world potentially ending for some reason, and I think this would be a pretty kickass way to go haha.
Honorable Mentions:
The entire Back to the Future franchise (mostly the 3rd one... nobody agrees with me on that)

I could name a million more, but I suppose I'll save them for another list.
