Since I don't really keep a journal on here I thought I might tell my dwindling friends list about some good bands/artists, that as well as being worth listening to, are also mates of mine.

The Maccabees are gonna be part of the next wave of indy rock bands to get big. Original sound, good songs and a great to see live.

Also Jamie T is one to watch. Wimbledon's answer to the Streets. He plays live his live set with just a mic and an acoustic bass, check him out if you like something a bit different.
