Awesome 3of5 let me borrow his awesome camera, so this weekend I shot 2 new sets, with Jhay as my photographer. They are both outdoor sets, because I give the people what they want. I'm not going to submit them one right after the other because 1) I'm not that kind of chick, and 2) I like one a lot more than the other. It's not that the first set was bad, it's just that we had to cut it short because we were getting eaten alive by killer mutant mosquitos. Most of the time I naturally repel mosquitos, and if I do get bitten, the irritation goes away immediately. But not with these killer mutant mosquitos.
I have rings of bites around both my ankles, on my hands, my stomach, and, my poor butt.

I might upload this set as a practice set first, or I might not at all. But here are a coupla "previews."

Less than 12 hours later, we were on our way to Stony Creek Metropark (where I had my bday party) to shoot set #2. I'm really happy with this one. I didn't have to do barely any work to it, so I went ahead and submitted it last night. It was in Staff Review for 2 hours (seriously!) and they passed on it, so now it's in the queue for member review.

So that was my weekend. I'm still very itchy, but hopefully it will be worth it.


Edited to add: The set that's now in the queue (August 9) looks eerily similar to Annisa's latest set, Home Again. I hope that's not an issue. (Technically my set was accepted to MR before her set went up, so I didn't know.)
