I think my dream job would be as a photographer. I don't like taking pictures of people so much, but definitly landscapes and the occasional wildlife. I think it's my mom's fault: she was a photographer when I was younger. She concentrated on portraiture, though. (Incidentally, I was her model for most things - I was in calendars, the newspaper, even on her business cards. So I blame her for my camera whoring too.) I used to help her out a bunch, and point out things that she should take pictures of. This was back in the days of good old film cameras, so by the time the pictures were developed (in our house - we had a darkroom), she would see the ones I made her take and be very impressed.
When I came back from Argentina in college, I saw all the cool pictures I had taken with my crappy point & shoot camera. And I mean it was a crappy cheapo thing, so the possibilities of what I could have taken made my head spin. I told my mom this, and she used her good standing as a photographer (even though she hadn't done it in years) to get a super deal on a really nice camera from a local shop. It was my first "real" camera with interchangable lenses, manual settings, etc. Sadly I didn't use it as much as I should have because I did not have a darkroom, and the camera was too bulky to carry everywhere. Then I had to sell it on ebay when I moved to Michigan so I could eat.
Right now I've got a point & shoot camera, which is perfect for taking with me everywhere. It has some manual settings, but it's still a point & shoot. I would like another big fancy one someday, but it will have to wait unti I have several hundred dollars that I don't need for other things. I don't have a camera on my wishlist because I haven't even begun to research what kind I would want, and besides - who's going to spend that much money on me? (If you do want to, you are welcome to buy me a Wii!) But I still think I've taken some good pictures. Here are some recent examples:

I like color & lines. I take a lot of pictures of trees & clouds, which I haven't included.
Edited to add: None of these have been photoshopped, by the way. I could play with them, but I don't know enough about that wacky program yet.
