I had my 10 week appt today.
Spawn is growing perfectly and measuring on schedule! My weight hasn't changed from last appt. Doctor said that was actually normal for 1st trimester (little to no weight gain). I'm so used to gaining like 10 lbs alone in the 1st trimester. I guess since I was a normal weight this time around, my body didn't see the need to pack on pounds.
I go back in 2 weeks to do a routine US screening for down syndrome.
We spent the weekend over at my mom's for my grandma's 70th birthday. Grandma didn't know we were coming. Her face totally lit up when we walked in the door.
John grilled up some pork ribs and Grandma showed me how she made her uber yummy potato salad. It was seriously the best potato salad I've ever had.
Mom just told me her cancer is down to 25% so now she'll be doing the less aggressive chemo once a week for the next 12 weeks. I hope that Grandma can handle the lesser chemo as well as she did the aggressive stuff they gave her.
Nothing else is going on right now. So I'll leave you guys with this little fun gem:
If I was a serial killer, right before I killed someone, I'd make them think they were on Scare Tactics:
Me: "Hey! You're on Scare Tactics!!"
Victim: "ZOMG REALLY?!?!?!?!"
