I had the absolute pleasure of doing greenapplemary's hair last night. She got a new job so I treated her to a new do.
Before:
After:
I started with a haircut. I cut all the damaged ends off with a zero degree haircut (a bob basically). Then I gave her layers for styling purposes (plus since her hair was so thick, takes some of the bulk out). I also thinned out the back. I fixed her bangs and did face framing.
The color I did highlights and lowlights. For the highlights I did Chi's oil-based bleach Blondest Blonde with 20 vol. The lowlights I used Chi's 5N with 20 vol. I am very pleased with the results. The color came out exactly how I wanted it to.
Afterwards we had some drinks and did some long over due catching up.
Then at 4am my mom called me to deliver the news that my aunt died 10 minutes prior. Now I'm waiting to hear about funeral arrangements. Funerals are the way my family does reunions
