Oh things just keep getting better and better for us.
First we get an orange sticker on our car saying the apt is going to have our car towed on the 8th because we are "illegally parked due to expired tags". I asked my mom if she could pay for our tags. She did so that's one less thing to worry about.
Then my brother in law asked if we could pay him the money we owed for him November and December. I replied back (this was all via txting btw) that we didn't have the money because our paycheck went to rent, electricity, and John's gas. I didn't hear anything back for awhile. Then my husband forwards me a txt from his mother saying "Please txt your brother and tell him you will pay him $50 by Monday or Tuesday. I will give you the money if you need it." I'm like "WTF?" So instead of setting something with me for next payday or something, he whines to mommy who insists we pay him anyway. Doesn't anyone take financial budget into accountability anymore? Its not exactly like we're rolling in the dough here.
I mean fuck. We don't even have any extra money for presents for our kids for Yule this year because John is working on getting car insurance next payday and getting his license reinstated.
