Okay so it has been effing forever since I've last blogged. I got tired of posting depressing shit all the time and I'm sure you got tired of reading it
John is doing fine at his work. He's liking what he does because its different. He doesn't like dealing with irrate customers over stupid shit. But who does?
I have not found a job at a salon. So I'm kind of feeling like my education and license are going to waste right now. Almost $30k in school debt and nothing to show for it makes me feel oh so really well.
We are preparing for the car to get repossessed because with John's pay and me not working, we cannot afford the car payments (over $500 a month). John has put in some bids for a couple of bikes via police auction so he's hoping he gets one of them at least so he can do the light rail/bike way to get to work. At least until refund time. We were planning on moving to a bigger place with the refund but getting a car that we can afford has taken bigger priority.
So in the meantime I've been WoWing it up. I transferred my disc priest and holy paladin over to Dragonblight. I'm now known as Pristyne and Prissy (alt 141 for the i). John transferred his paladin over. I'm liking paladin healing and am thinking of making her my main for Cata (mainly because everyone and their puppy dogs has a priest on Dragonblight but I do not see very many holy paladins running around).
The patch took some getting used to but its really not so bad. Everything will start making sense once Cata comes out anyway.
Last night we heard cat meows. John asks "Is that a cat?" "Yeah its probably downstairs or something." "It sounds kind of loud." "Well cats are loud." John checked outside our door. "Its at our door." He opens it up and an orange tabby waltzes in like "OH thank goodness!! Someone finally answered!!"
John checks the cat over and sees it is a she. She's only about 4 months old. We fed her some turkey lunch meat and gave her water. I nicknamed her "Blondie". First thing that popped in my head really. She ran around the apt. She is very, very loving and playful. Litter box trained so I knew she has/had an owner. Not spaded though so we don't know if she's missing or abandoned. Anyways-We've tried to kick her out. She won't go any further than our cactus by our door. Then she'll just sit there and cry until we let her in. She is VERY good with the kids. And of course the kids love her. I spent today trying to find someone who will take her. My mom said she'd take the trip down her next week to take her. However, somehow it was decided that we'd just effing keep her. My mom is going to help us out with the $300 pet deposit for the apt. Not too worried about the increase in rent because our rent would just go back to being what it originally was.
So without further ado, meet the "unofficial" (until we get the pet deposit) newest member of our family, Blondie:
