I've been lvling up a resto shaman while I am waiting on acquiring the funds to transfer over my 80 priest from Dunemaul to Dragonblight. I have ran into so many newb players. The one thing that I love about being a healer is this:
Case 1: I refuse to heal tanks that think its okay to run 30 yards ahead and pull the next group when the party ISN'T EVEN NEAR, muchless the healer (me), and then wonder why the fuck he died. (This has happened multiple occassions.
Case 2: Refused to heal a lock for using the AoE Hellfire instead of Destruction. Hellfire sucks your life away as it is being used and I ended up healing the goddamn lock more than the tank just because she wanted to use that stupid AoE. I stopped healing her. She died. Never used it again.
Case 3: I have defended locks to the teeth about using Life Tap. Life Tap allows the lock to convert health into mana. Do I think locks have the right to use Life Tap in instances? Absolutely. Do I think they have the right to use it sooooo much that they seriously have a little sliver of life left right before the tank pulls the next group and then expect you to heal? FUCK NO.
A lock that I was running with for 2 instances in randoms did just that. He would life tap til he was almost dead and then SIT DOWN TO EAT to regain his health after I refused to heal him. So he could have just manad up the old fashion way. I told him that a couple of taps would suffice him if he knew his proper rotation. Though most people lvling alts think that because they already have an 80, they are sooo badass they don't need to research other classes.
Case 4: Resto druid queuing up as DPS.
