1) I have decided that instead of working in a salon, I'm going to work independently for a bit doing waxing and MUA work. I'm actually thinking about heading over to do aestitician work vs doing hair. Its going to take a bit of an investment buying supplies and such but I should be able to do a little at a time.
2) We still haven't gotten our EBT card and its been a week (to the day). My mom said that since they ship it out of Phx, we should have gotten it 2 days later. She said that if I didn't get it today, that I should be calling them asking WTF even though they told me 7-10 business days.
In reality, we have no money to buy food because the money we did have went to bills and John's gas (he only got half a paycheck this time around and doesn't get paid til the 30th).
I always feel like we get screwed by DES every time we utilize them. When I was pregnant with Lily, for example, I was denied insurance because the person who did my lab pregnancy test wrote down the wrong due date (2-21-06 instead of 2-21-07). So they thought I had already given birth even though the lab person wrote down the proper date of when I took the pregnancy test. It took me 3 months worth of phone calls and getting bounced around in order for me to get the issue resolved. I didn't get to see my doctor until I was 4 months along. And that's just ONE of the things I had to go through with them.
3) I am just looking forward to July being over with. Hopefully beginning of August things will start looking up for us. The last 3 months have been really hard on us and we're about to reach our breaking point.

hey girl. Long time no talk. I hate to see this! We're in the same boat though. I HATE DES. Especially here in Arizona. This too shall pass!
