This month is the one year anniversary of my first staff photographer set for Reflections shot by Lorelei.
I had so much fun shooting this set and had the great opportunity of meeting some of the local SGs such as Astatine, Riona, Faithful, and now archived Ally.
I have decided, however, (after much thought) that I probably will not be shooting more sets for SG. I do not want to be one of disillusioned girls that think their time will come if they just keep pumping out sets or wait it out or whatever. I am perfectly fine with not being what SG is looking for. There are some girls that have it and some that don't. Not everyone is cut out for everything.
I am not leaving the SG community. I love this community so much and am greatful for my years spent on this site. I have made so many wonderful friends and they are the reason why I am staying.
I really don't care about ever going pink. I'm just thankful for the opportunity to get the chance to at least try. Now I will never wonder what could have happened.
Advice to current and future hopefuls:
If you ever want even the slightest chance of going pink, your attitude is EVERYTHING. LISTEN to the critiques people give you. Don't argue with them, don't make excuses for why your set is poor quality. LEARN and APPLY. Don't be some snotty bitch because people WILL see it and you will never get bought.
Think of it this way. You are the owner of a company and you are looking for people to represent your company to bring in more revenue. The general public will see these people as the faces of what your company is. Would you rather have nice, caring people who can reach out and relate to the general public or snotty, catty, stuck up bitches who drive people away?
Think about it.
