I thought the bridal interview went really well. She wants someone who puts the customers first and works hard. She said they put in long hrs and such. I think the only thing holding me back from getting the job is the children management. Even though I told her that childcare was no issue and even if my husband found a job, we would make sure our schedules worked. Case in point: When I went to cosmetology school, I stayed home during the day with the kids while John worked. Then when it was time for me to go to school, John would take me and finish the rest of his hrs at home while watching the kids. We did that for two years. The woman is concerned that if John gets a job then my hrs will be an issue even when I reassured her that they wouldn't be.
So if some single chick walks in with no kids and no other responsibilities but to herself, I probably won't get the job. Fingers crossed though. It looked like it would be fun to work there. The woman said that she would let me know by the end of the week.
