So, Last week I was made redundant after nearly 11 years of loyalty to my employer.
However, I am not too upset about this.
Two reasons,
1. I was becoming bored of my job, and my Industry (Printing Industry)
2. Having been there for 10 years, I was entitled to a redundancy payout to cushion the blow.
Now though, I have no idea what direction I wish to go, I could try and get a job in the same industry with my trade certification again, but I think that would be wasting a prime chance to change direction completely.
I could just take the first full time job doing what ever that comes along.
Or I could think of something that I could enrole in and study, get further qualifications and work part time to have some income while I study.
First things first, A long overdue holiday, to South America is going to take place, once i sort dates, book and go while I have a few cold months here that can be better spent somewhere warmer :)
But all new, fun and interesting times ahead which ever way things go.
Who knows, packing up and moving to South America if I really like what I see on my holidays could also happen :)
