.....i am trying to figure out how to get over the awkwardness of hanging out with my ex.....she got married on july 1 2004...now we we only split up last october....she got married after 3 months of knowing this new guy...i am cool with all of that..i am just not cool with the fact that i still want to be with her. so that makes it hard to hang out with her...that and she keeps bugging me to hang out with her.... am i just being stupid. love dose eventually die and me and her were only together for 3 years. why is it hard to let go of stuff like that so can just be her freind. she needs it...her and her new hubby are always fighting...i am happy for their marriage...but not for their problems. I am just looking into this wayyyy to much.. i am gonna go climb back into a bottle and drink my thoughts away...lol.

hmm....days off..well this is my third i think..i have been drunk off…
3 yrs is a long time, and if you two had a good relationship, and were good friends, its gonna take a long time to get over it. Believe me, I know. I try and try to move on, in my new relationship, but I think about my ex everyday.
Which is probably, how your ex feels, and why she still wants to talk to you. But just know that her problems now, are hers, not yours, and you dont have an obligation anymore.
Ok, ill stop rambling now. This is my last thought - You will probably continue to want to be with her, as long as you keep talking to her. If you seriously want to move on, break all ties to her. It's a very hard thing to do, but since she is married now it might be the best thing for you to do.
