SO ... i had a friecking awesome night last night. I went to this battle of the bands thing. my sisters boyfriend matt's band was playing in it and i went to support his band. so the first band goes on and they didn't have a bassist. they were pretty good. didn't think much of them not having a bassist. so matt's band goes on and they were fucking awesome and the other three bands that played were pretty darn good as well.

so the first band that didn't have a bassist, i went up to the drummer to tell them that they were good and i said, "hey, i'm a bassist" and he said "well, give me a call and we'll have an audition or something." and the other 2 members came up to me and we talked for probably about 2 hours. i am in the band now and all i have to do is learn their songs (they have a complete albums worth of songs) and we have a show to play in denver in august and i learn by ear well, so this should be easy and so much fun and man did i get good luck eh??

so i am looking forward to playing this show and we're having our first practice on tuesday. i am so excited. i have wanted this since i can remember...i have always wanted this. i have been in so many bands that never worked out, and i have never actually played a real show before...so this should be FUN! wooh! i am fucking happy and excited and i can't wait. wish me luck everyone!

anyways, i have to go to work today. hope my stuff is still there... i'm still sick too. SOOO i think i'm actually going to make a doctors appointment *sigh*
