Well, well, well. Time for another HANDY DANDY: UPDATE! *fanfare*
So, last time I updated I mentioned that there were 11 days left until my trip up to Boston. Now there's only one. I keep forgetting how fucking FAST time goes by. It really is incredible (not the good kind of incredible).
SO.
I leave on a jet plane tomorrow at 6 AM. Going to meet up wth some friends up there and just spend all day relaxing and resting. The audition at Berklee will take place on Satruday in the AM. It will include sight-reading/singing, interval recognition, scales and modes, call-and-repsonse, arpeggios (7th chords (major/minor/diminished/dominant)) and my one solo piece.
To all of you who did not understand one fucking thing: don't worry.
After that, the rest of the day will consist of underage drinking, probably the use (or misuse) of a certain herbal supplement, and maybe, just maybe, a night of promiscuity. They say Boston is the Mecca of students. We will see.
Afterwards, I will be back Sunday afternoon, only to leave to my beloved city of the mountains (Monterrey) and spend the rest of the week there enjoying my leisure time and speaking spanish.
If the gods allow it, I will be back sometime around next sunday (and I'll win that scholarship).
