my vocab is terrible. what do you mean by desperacy?

hi there. well, what i ment. i just met this girl for a 'date' or something the other day, and i felt, that i had showed interest, but perhaps, too much interest. that is, when you want to be with someone, too much. then it starts to be negative. we have to be content within ourselves. i just was thinking, its ok to show interest, but not desperacy.
it's funny cause i met her today, and she asked me why i didnt call.
she told me her phone had been stolen, so she didnt have my number. we're gonna go to see a film sometime. i told i called and some guy answered, 'she didnt tell me about you' which is the truth. go figure. someone pulled my leg. i'm too innocent. its too easy to lie to me. she told me not to be jealous.
