Simple breakfasts can be ruined and made glorious by little things. For instance some folk will suggest olive oil for cooking eggs and while this is healthier than lard or butter it adds a wack flava that I just can't come to terms with. Conversely a little bit of oregano on those sunny side ups makes the taste of the yolk a whole lot zazzier!
The English muffin is alright but I would have liked a baguette today, whevs, no big deal. the ham was a bit saltier than I thought it would be, I don't recall it being so salty on Monday.
Confession: I am getting very comfortable about not sweetening my tea and coffee; I feel more adult and distinguished by.
I had a homemade Manhattan last night around 8:30 and even though it tasted right it gave me a headache! One drink and I get a mild hangover? that's some bullshit!
Damn you alcohol! Maybe tonight I'll just booze with some vodka and a block of ice
