So I'm doing laundry today in the overpriced local laundomat and it occurs to me; I really like laundromats. I just like the sound of the spin cycle and lovely rolling of the dryers. I like how people use the time to read, study, listen to their mp3 players orwhatever they do on theri laptops. it's unlike a cafe where you have a typically benevolent community surrounding you. Yeah, there are some times when weird crack haeads are washing an unusual amaount of clothes but that's sort of cool for people watching.
Personally I always bring a book today it was ,"When Jesus Became God". Now granted I only read about 10 pages because of my ADD and fascination with the couple at the dryers who were speaking some sort of slavic tongue. I don't know what they were talking about but it was some sort light weight argument, most likely the boy was upset that he had to be at the laundromat. Of course hey could've been discussing how to get blood stains out of jeans or where the girl spent $200 the night before. I'll tell you though; I don't enjoy the folding part; it reminds me too much of my days spent at the Gap Shhhhhh!
Anyway, Why don't they connect Laundromats with cafe's and magazines shops? What a fucking great idea!

yes, yes it did. everyone said it was not pleasant to watch me get that pierced cos i looked like i was in so much pain. even the piercer felt bad for hurting me so much!
