Hey Hey Hey!!! I hope everyone had a great Halloween this past weekend. I sure did!!!
It goes like this:
Friday night: Finished carving our pumpkins at about 5 and put them outside. (pics down below).
I was supposed to go into work (night shift) at my store @ 10:30pm. Which meant i didn't plan on going out that night obviously. I was a nice guy and let my other co-worker take that night off to take his nephews out for Trick or Treating in T.O. so i would take the saturday night off... So i get to work to notice that my night Foreman is still off this week being horribly sick. I get to the punch clock when i notice a note saying that our other guy Leslie called in sick also..... uh oh... i would be the only one working and that meant alone which is a very big NO-NO in a grocery store. (health and saftey issue) if i fell or did something it would hours and hours before someone could help me...
I call the Store Manager at home and tell him we have to close the store that night (24 hour store), he was pissed! Not at me though i'm in his good books. He was angry in general about the 2 full-time night guys who have been calling in sick the last few months. Anyways i locked up the store @ 12, set the alarms and called my g/f to tell her the good news!!
I rush home, grab my costume from last year and head out to the bar called "The Legendary Red Rooster". I get there and have a great night listening to a band named "The Birthday Massacre".. Well worth the while to check them out!
So i drive my g/f's two tipsy girl friends home and the g/f and i come back here for some sleep.
Saturday night: A group of 6 of us including my lady went to Halloween Haunt at Canada's WonderLand (first time at the haunt).. Fan-freakin-tastic!! Had so much on the rides and haunted houses, mazes etc.... Can't wait to go next year!
Sunday night: When to the g/f's house to meet her mom and brother and have some dinner...Food was good mmmmmmmmm. Afterwards we watched a couple dvds. Airplane and The Transporter. Before i left the mother gave me a jar of home-made salsa that they made all day. I had some today and it was great!!!
