Well lets see what happened today. ummm MY BRAKES FAILED!
i was on my way to pick up a friend of mine a few blocks away and when i pulled into the driveway of his buddies place i pushed to brake and my foot went right to the floor. So my friend and i taped up the broken brake hose to my left front caliper and babied her to the ford dealership i always go to get her fixed. Good thingit was only a couple mintues down the street and the car had enough braking power to slow down for me to put it in park at the lights.
So i go in and give them the keys. the guy writes a sign for my window saying "No Brakes" and we left to walk down the block to use my brothers car. 2 hours later they called. I expected what he said. Both rear drums(rear brakes) are shot (need to be replaced 'unsafe'), the caliper bleeding screws and the lines and hoses from the master cylinder(where the brake fluid is stored and pressurized to the brakes) are seized and if they can't unseize any of them those parts will all have to be replaced (on both sides of the car). I gave him the 'go ahead' since my safety is on the line.
I haven't heard from him since 2:00pm this afternoon so i don't know how my baby is. He also quoted me (worst case scenario) it'll cost me over $1200. Of which i don't have which means the trusty credit card has to come out.
Sidenote- i travelled to Humber college for class last night. THANK GOD that the brakes did not fail me in traffic both ways.

I'm stuck at work on Monday, and I already know that there is nothing I can do about it.
