The past two days have been amazing, I tell you.
Jeep Dealership and Repair shop #1: "You're rear brakes are shot (stuck open, not even working), as well as the front, all rotors, all calipers, and parking brake." - $900
Repair shop #2 - "You're front rotors are perfect, rear brakes work, but need replacing and new rotors." - $700 (but there are rebates involved to bring it down to $500ish)
Repair shop #3 - "Rear rotors are perfect, need new rear shoes, front rotors will need replacing within the year." - $99 + labor (not including the front rotors)
Seriously, WTF?! Can someone not LIE to me for once? And by the way, those brake shoes cost $25 each and can be replaced in less than thirty minutes, you assholes (not YOU, but, you know, the mechanics I've been dealing with).
P.S. - I had $450 to go towards my sleeve... Probably not anymore.
