Gaaahhh...headache...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Visited the dentist today for the bi-annual check-up & cleaning. I am happy to say I am the lucky owner of all of my original, cavity-free teeth.
But karma bites me on the ass by giving me large nerve chambers, making my teeth very susceptible to hot and cold. The tooth fairy is a cruel mistress.

Dropped off one of my guitars over the weekend with my friend, Mike Fox (Los Olvidados, Drunk Injuns, Dwarves). He's a guitar tech-type guy, and he's going to set it up for me (occasionally you need to have them 'adjusted' i.e. straighten neck, adjust string height from fretboard, level frets, adjust distance that strings are stretched, etc.).
It's a cheap Japanese guitar from the late '70s, but I love it. It looks like a canoe paddle. I've had to replace just about everything on it to make it sound good. Ten years ago, I replaced the awful tuners. In 2001, I carved a new nut. In March, I installed new pickups, switch and wiring. Now comes the final step...I can't wait.

Good visit with the therapist tonight. Don't know how I'm going to continue, though, when I'm out of work.
