Oh man! So something totally awesome! A couple weeks ago I got a letter from the Central band director saying that he heard me play at some jazz festival a few months ago and he really wants me to audition for his band because he liked my time feel and sound...He also said that I'd be looked upon favorably for scholarship money because I am a drummer and they are losing their more experienced drummers at the end of this year...SO...today I went over and visited their campus and sat in and listened to their band and he introduced me to the whole band and said that I was a drummer and I was wanting to go there next year. It was sooo cool and he didn't even expect me to visit today but when he saw me he called me by my last name...So he knows my name at the top of his head!! So awesome! I'm super excited. I haven't applied yet but I have a month...Hmm, so much stuff to do!
