I never cease to be disappointed by how predictable people can be. I study and observe everywhere I go. As a scientist I continually seek to quantify everything I see, and as an artist I continually hope to find it impossible. As a philosopher I have to wonder: could there be such a thing as mechanized humanity?
I don't think there's such a thing as self-determination. At least, not to the degree that everyone wishes it existed. I think society has just turned into one giant pre-determined Rube Goldberg machine that was set into motion round about the time the first proto-humans became self-aware. Most people aren't humans, they're just machines that look and act like humans, and worse than that, they're machines who THINK they're humans. Not that anyone HAS to be a machine, just that it's been made so much simpler for everyone to just sit there comprising a part of a marketing demographic, generating and expdinging income, why should anybody even BOTHER to try to be a human anymore?
Environmental scientists know that the natural world is so complicated that they can't even begin to comprehend it in its entirety. Psychology, sociology, and business administration, meanwhile, have reduced humanity to a bunch of statistics. No wonder I like nature so much better than people.
God, I hate income tax season!

Do we know each other yet?

hey buddy, thanks for the kind words about my song, Im trying to be a muscian I just started exploring that side of me a year ago. the original band I was in decided I wasn't writing the kind of songs they wanted and said that I should find another band ... which I have been putting together for the last 3 months ... and I think I have something ready to go for the summer. The previous band I was in was nu-metal like deftones and taproot and mudvayne ... the song that you saw is going to be an acoustic song I think I know someone that plays acoustic guitar and we are planning on recording that. The new band is going to be a hardcore-ish band like from autumn to ashes but a little lighter than that. Hope that answers all your questions ... I've had a lot of coffee so Im in a rambly mood right now.
