Its the end of the week here in lovely girona spain, and man, was it a hard one. I just had a ton of work to correct this week. So much so I gave my classes very, very light homework assignments for the weekend, so that when I go back next week, not so much for one tired english teacher to correct.
For those of you who bitch about doing homework, trust me, as a teacher, I hate correcting it.
To add to this stress I had one of my little girls get stuck in the bathroom at school one day. That was bad of course, but funny too. The class is all 7 year olds, and I tell you, they where very creative in trying to find ways to open that bathroom door. it was cute, but as a teacher, stressful when you have a crying little girl you have to keep clam until the door can get open.
To top everything off, this week have been very lonely. Living here in Girona is cool, but for the locals, it has a certain romatic quality to it. When you are alone in a foregin country, and more a stranger then a local, seem sooooo much love makes one feel lonely.
So, as you read , if you are reading, this week was a hard one.
