So far this weekend has been amazing. My brother, sister in law and friends from Ventura Jase and Geri rented a house in Hollywood. New Years Eve was spent at the knitting factory in LA with Zane Lamprey
new years day we just hung out in the house and relaxed. Watched the Winter Classic game on TV and did nothing. Our buddy Melissa came over for dinner and nothing really exciting happened. On friday we went to Father's Office. They have the most amazing hamburger you'll ever have as well as a tone of great beers. Was my first time going there, but is a favorite of Jase and Geri. Then it was off to the Magic Castle. The building is pretty amazing. At first i thought the magic was going to be super lame and not that much fun, but everything we saw was rad. Dr. Drew was there watching one of the shows with us. hahah. Dinner was ok, nothing special, but the highlight of the night was the "close up" magic. It's pretty amazing what people can do right in front of your face. We then got a few personal shows and those were right there in front of us. Only downside of the night was 3 out of the 8 people we went with got sick. We think it was from the seafood pasta Elvia got cause only the folks who tried it got sick.
Today it's lounging around till early evening when we get ready to go see the Kings play the Flyers. It's been a while since I've been to Staples Center for a hockey game. I'm thinking of picking up one of the new Kings 3rd jerseys. We'll have to wait and see though.

I'm loving the beard man! As soon as we get back from Fiji I'll be growing mine out. My buddy Dwight and I are doing it for our road trip. He's already started on his though. But I'll catch up to him easily. I'm a hairy fucker!
