Sunday Jive
I have this new love for Sundays. Everyday I work, usually at more than one place - but not Sunday. So today, having no prior obligations, I decided I would take a dig a little bike ride down to the Co-Op (i'm still boycotting Whole Foods) and also make a little stop down at Pattycake Vegan Bakery. At the Co-Op i got hip to some house made salad, tea, and ginger shoyu tofu; then bounced down to Pattycake to score some vegan cookies and talk about bikes (since the guy working there is the same guy that runs the thridhand bike co-op). Later I came home and continued stripping my room down to a minimalist living space. After some skatepark action, it was time to make some tempeh patties and nosh down the last quart of spicy wheatberry soup (with collards and homegrown tomatoes). Oh yeah, yesterday yielded much anti-war protesting ala a march from Goodale to the Statehouse. I got a fucking ticket too. Rock and Roll.
